Pacman History

Pacman is a cartoon looking game character that has had a huge influence on the game industry and gamers in general. He is also one of the first gaming characters that was ever created who is so popular even in this day and age.

Pacman is an easy game but quite challenging. Especially if this was your first time ever playing a video game. You get to control one character and that is pacman. You have to collect yellow dots and fruits in a maze like stage. There are ghosts that you need to avoid.

These ghosts come in different colors and they each have their own personality, even though you will not notice that in the game.

If you eat the right fruit, everything changes. The music is different and the screen starts flashing. Now Pacman has the power to eat the ghosts and they are scared to approach you. This will only last for a short period.

The gameplay is simple yet very addictive. You only have to worry about getting high points and maneuver through the maze and avoid the ghosts.

The graphics are pretty basic and nothing compared to the extravaganza graphics you see in the latest greatest and newest RPG’s or sports games.

Ms. Pacman is the female version of Pacman and you can distinguish her by the red bow tie that you can see on her head when you are playing the game.

She got her own game after pacman got his, but her game has a couple of differences in it. There are a couple of different level designs and the fruits do not stay in the same place.

Looking at the history of Pacman is quite entertaining, because there are still pacman games being made to this day. Have you played any of them lately?
